When you get that Legendary or Ornate gear, the first question most people ask is "How powerful will this be?" I have come up with a simple calculation to figure this out.
Types of Gear[]
There are three types of gear. Regular, Arisen, and Boss. Regular gear is dropped from regular mobs. Arisen gear comes from Arisen Mobs(Tier 7 and 8 only), and Boss gear comes from Boss mobs. Gear is also broken down into 7 categories

Calculating Gear[]
Boss Gear[]
If a Level 1 piece of Boss Gear is represented as "x" then the formula is x(1.28) + x and x(1.30) +x. Your Boss Gear at level 10 will fall somewhere in that range.
Arisen Gear[]
Same as Boss Gear
Regular Gear[]
If a level 1 piece of Regular Gear is represented as "x" the the formula is 2x. You Regular Gear will fall near that number.
Figuring out Gear %[]
To figure out the gear percentage you take the level 1 stats of the gear you want to figure out the % of(x) and divide it by the base stats of the same gear(y). The number will come out as 1.xx. The two numbers after the 1 are the %.
x/y=% of weapon
So if you had a legendary sword with an attack at 180 and the standard attack stat for that sword is 120, then you do:
180/120=1.5. So the Gear is 50%
